Two new pictures (8/8/18) What a blessing! "2685 more ears of corn harvested yesterday and there are still more to come"
Four new pictures (8/2/18) of the men harvesting corn. The crop has been a large one and a huge blessing!
Farm Update: July 11, 2018
I'm sending you pictures of how the corn is advancing. Thanks to God it is advancing well. One serious problem that is coming is that it hasn't rained in these days and on the 15 of July starts the Canicula which is a month of the return of summer, like our "Indian summer." So we need to pray for rain in the next month. (Check out the progression of the crops!)
A small plot of ground with a world changing purpose.
Small Seed - purchase a plot of land. Connect farmers from the US who have green thumbs, a lot of agriculture knowledge, and a heart for God's mission, with churches in Nicaragua that have a need and a desire to sustain their pastors and bless their communities. A desire to grow and bless others with the produce.
What's the plan? The dream is, that working together, we will come up with the best way to produce the best product that the land can give in order to provide for the Nandaime School of Blessing. That's the local part. The national part is to bring pastors and lay people from other areas of Nicaragua to learn how to duplicate the farm in their region and to be blessed with some theological training at the same time. Internationally, the farm and training center will serve as a pioneer missionary preparation school. Latin America students can come for 9-12 months to learn the many things they will need to know to be sent out to unreached people groups of Latin America and around the world.
