Colombia, situated in the northwestern region of South America, is a country known for its rich cultural diversity, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant cities. From the Andes mountain range to the Amazon rainforest and the Caribbean coast, Colombia boasts a diverse geography that captivates visitors. The capital city, Bogotá, is nestled high in the Andes and serves as a bustling hub of business and culture. Medellín, once synonymous with a tumultuous history, has transformed into a dynamic city with innovative urban projects and a thriving arts scene. The coastal city of Cartagena, with its well-preserved colonial architecture, draws tourists with its historic charm and Caribbean flair.
Colombia's cultural tapestry is woven with influences from its indigenous communities, Spanish colonial heritage, and Afro-Colombian traditions. Music and dance, such as salsa and cumbia, play a central role in Colombian life, adding a lively rhythm to everyday activities. The warmth and hospitality of the Colombian people contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. Despite historical challenges, Colombia is making strides in economic development and tourism, inviting the world to discover the beauty and resilience that characterize this South American nation. |
Finca La Promesa
|
Nearly 25 acres of Amazon jungle farm land just waiting to be developed to be a self-sustaining farm serving as a headquarters, connecting various missions, ministries and businesses dedicated to the advancement of God's Kingdom cross-culturally.
It currently hosts the Escuela de Misiones de la Amazonia en Leticia, or the Mission School of the Amazonas in Leticia but we envision it to have so much more. Through this farm, eternal fruit will be produced through unified Kingdom work to build Christ's church and equip others for His service. Currently, we're working on adding a dorm/house for students coming to study to be Gospel workers to the indigenous communities in the Amazonas where there is little to no Gospel representation. |
